Dali On My Mind
There are two places I’d like to travel to before I die… outer space, and the inside of a Dali painting. I wasn’t allowed to take pictures in the current museum, but here are some photos from outside of the new museum that will house twice as many pieces as the old one, complete with double helix staircases and a Fibonacci walkway into the building. I’ll be coming back once it’s finally open as I just can’t get enough of this guys work. After a day of looking at his creations you just can help but look at the world through a oddly different perspective. Shadows. Shapes. Colors. Lights & Darkness. I swear they never looked this way before!
New Orleans: The Definition of Resilient
And colorful too! If SF is my favorite city of the West, then NOLA is definitely my favorite city of the South. I had high expectations for nawlins, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The people, the music, the food, the architecture, the history, the culture… what’s not to like love!? These photos don’t even do it justice. You MUST come experience it for yourself!
