Stencil Statements

I can’t say enough about the street art here in Bogota, but I don’t really have to as the art often speaks for itself.

Solo Bogota

I needed to hit a mileage requirement in order to keep my Gold status, so I took a look at a map and a mileage calculator and narrowed down a few destinations that met the requirements. In the end it came down between South Africa and Colombia. Colombia won out by a hair. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little nervous given Colombia’s stigma as a dangerous place, but before I knew it I was out roaming the streets with little concern for safety, even in this giant city.

Mileage Run For Corned Beef

Time was running out for me to get my status match with Delta so I needed to book a flight with enough airline miles to push me over the hump to get my Gold status. So, I took a roundabout way to get from Atlanta to Colombia via NYC, with just enough time to swing by Katz’s Deli for a corned beef sandwich. Totally worth the extra flying time and status!

Back In Boca, Briefly

Beaches, Bocce & Burgers. That’s your three basic needs in Boca Raton. Just stopping through here en route to Colombia baby! Finally!

This post was brought to you be the letter B.

One Of The Greatest Humans Ever

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born and raised here in Atlanta, GA. And it is here were he started his epic journey of changing the world for the better. Not since Jefferson declared America’s independence from England has one man had such a profund impact on society as a whole. Where would we be today without Dr. King? I’m glad I’ll never know the answer to that question.
