Time was running out for me to get my status match with Delta so I needed to book a flight with enough airline miles to push me over the hump to get my Gold status. So, I took a roundabout way to get from Atlanta to Colombia via NYC, with just enough time to swing by Katz’s Deli for a corned beef sandwich. Totally worth the extra flying time and status!

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born and raised here in Atlanta, GA. And it is here were he started his epic journey of changing the world for the better. Not since Jefferson declared America’s independence from England has one man had such a profund impact on society as a whole. Where would we be today without Dr. King? I’m glad I’ll never know the answer to that question.

The size of this ancient city is remarkable. And the quality of the construction makes you wonder if our modern day civilizations have really progressed that far at all. Well, I guess we at least have cameras to photograph all of their hard work. That’s progress.
