Sint Maarten is the Dutch side of Saint Martin and where you can find Maho Beach. It’s located just a few meters from the runway of Princess Juliana International Airport and you can sunbathe while watching some spectacular 747 approaches. For those brave enough, you can try your luck at standing at the edge of the runway and getting blown back into the ocean by the jet blast of departing aircraft. Bring some eye protection though.
Back in Austin for a little family gathering. Still one of the top cities in the US. Great food. Great music. Great nightlife. Great art. Great people. It almost doesn’t even feel like Texas here! ZING!
