The Blue Ridge Parkway is a National Parkway that runs for 469 miles along part of the Appalachian Mountains. It runs from North Carolina to Virginia and offers some very scenic views along this well maintained road.
Rather than following the same route the last time I drove along the Eastern seaboard, I took a look at a map and opted to head inland a bit. Anything to avoid the wretched Myrtle Beach again!
Picked up the RV in Jacksonville today and made a B-line north to resume the circumnavigation of North America. Got as far as Charleston, SC where I’ll call it a night.
Saint-Martin is the French side of Saint Martin and while it doesn’t have as nearly as an exciting beach as the Dutch side there are still some rather spectacular sights.
